OUR STORY

The roots of Simchas reach far back. When the Jewish people went into diaspora to Central Asia, a large part settled in Uzbekistan and the neighboring countries. Over centuries, a distinct, profound culture grew there, and with it, one of the region's best-known cuisines: Bukharian.

Passed down from generation to generation, this tradition remained alive. Later emigrations carried it as far as Israel, Europe, America, and Australia. In Vienna, we continue it and combine it into what Simchas represents today: a fusion of Israeli, Russian, and Uzbek cuisine, rooted in Bukharan tradition.

That's exactly what we want to share at our table. Good kosher food, warm hospitality, and the warmth of a kitchen that carries its history within it.
